What Makes A GOod Pop/R%26amp;B Artist?
TALENT TALENT!!!!

If you have big boobs and talent people are gonna start asking questions
Reply:well i think you have to be tough and smart. have a good head for business and know how to promote yourself. then i think most anyone could make it. go for it!
Reply:try out for american idol. even if you don't win its a good way to get some exposure. if you don't want to go that route you know take some singing lessons and get an agent and maybe you could sing at local events for a while, and maybe put your songs on youtube and myspace those are both good ways to get yourself and your music out there. good luck.
Reply:just be yourself
Reply:Prince is my all time favorite also.

About 15-20 years ago Prince had a really talented singer named Bonnie Boyer in his band. She was a heavy set, yet beautiful woman %26amp; had one of the best singing voices ever.

More recently he's worked with Rosie Gaines who also is great singer in her own right.

Image is very important for "pop acts" but I'd much rather see a talented performer %26amp; singer than a hot girl who lip syncs songs she didn't even write.

Prince is a good role model for aspiring singers %26amp; musicians.

He takes his art seriously %26amp; is always at the top of his game. He's versitile in almost all forms of music %26amp; can play almost any instrument you put in front of him.

One thing about Prince that stands out most is that he's got his own style. He's never been one to follow trends - he sets his own.

The most important thing to remember is to stay true to yourself %26amp; your craft.
