I am going on a cruise in a few days what is the best suntan lotion to use?

Its not my first cruise, mind you. But I want to actually tan. l don't feel like I actually get a tan with Australian Gold or alot of the store brand crap. I dont want to spend over ten bucks either. Keep in mind I am leaving on Sunday so I cant order anything. Has to be something in stores. What will tan me good? Dont give me comments about skin cancer, I'm in the medical industry.. I know. :)

I went on a cruise to the Caribbean (it was awsome.) Not to mention, I got a good tan.

See, we don't necessarily need to slather chemicals on our skin to tan. Here's a good method to get darker without burning:

Lay on your back or belly for about 15 minutes. (It really matters how intense the sun is. So if your going down south towards the equator, I recommend you watch your timing.) When your 15 minutes is up, lay on your other side, and do the same thing. Generally that is good enough for one day, but if you plan to say out in the sun longer than that, now is the time to slather on sun screen.

No tanning oil is needed.

If you feel you need something, use Baby Oil.

The greasiness of it is known to attract the sun.
Reply:Coconut oil..
Reply:My brother did a science experiment for school on which sunscreens work best, and the results came out to CVS sun tan lotion! They protect the best, and usually if your skin is protecting from burning, you'll end up tanning instead! Buy the sunscreen that says CVS in big letters.

Hope I helped!

Reply:Use original Hawaiian Tropic with an SPF 4!

Baby oil and other natural oils are a NO-NO...they burn like hell when you just start to get a really good tan. %26gt;_%26gt; Enjoy your cruise!
