What is the most Humane way of killing an animal for fur ?

Animals are skinned alive for their fur. From what I heard, they are skinned alive because of the thing in blood called solid7 or something that makes it hard to peel off.





I really DIS the people who kill and wear fur. But I noticed that many or them are still wearing fur despite endless messages put across to stop wearing fur.





I just want to know since, we can't stop it. Is there another alternative to kill them more swiftly and painlessly that maybe could be implemented to fur industries to tentatively control the cruelty until the whole fur trade is put to a stop.

I do not know- But I really appreciate your efforts. That's the kind of thing more people should do. I like that you recognize that people are going to still do it, so try to make it better at least.

Reply:People with a cave-mans mentality wear fur. It doesn't matter how fast or how painless an animal is killed. The point is why that animal is killed in the first place. Are people really so cold nowadays that they still feel the need to wear fur?
Reply:I don't believe they should take fur, but they could have some kind of tranquilizer that "puts them to sleep".


That would be more humane.

Reply:on fur farms for small animals like foxs , minx and other small animals thay are not skinned alive they are put in a crowded confined room were carbon minoxide and other gases are pumped in to kill the animals .





people say this is the most human way of killing them but its not it can take 30minutes for the 50 or so animals to die and while in this chamber many go crazy , have fits and other horrible side affects before they die .





there is no human way of killing animals for fur it is always barbic and cruel .





I understand where your coming from but to find a new to make animals suffer more is cruel and just gives those in the fur trade the thought that what there doing is justified .

Reply:This can be reduced to an issue of economics. Its called supply and demand. Now as long as there is a demand, than there will be a supply of furs gained by unscrupulous people. When you can remove the demand, the practice will go away. Let's all band together to try to get the message trough to people who would buy furs for any purpose. Modern synthectic materials can simulate any fur quite well. I wouldn't mind earing a recycled plastic milk carton jacket if you would.
Reply:Trap the animal in a large, comfortable home where friendly people live. Feed it well, love it lots, kill it with kindness, let it die of old age.
