Well...you know how rumors fly around in the entertainment industry. The latest is that Michael Jackson had part of his gross nose removed, and the skin was used in Ashlee Simpson's nose job. She was reported as saying she would be able to be more creative if Michael Jackson was part of her.
Is it true that Ashlee Simpson has part of Michael Jackson's nose?
I say no because he didn't have any nose to give!
Reply:I would like to have sex with Ashlee Simpson.
Reply:eww ill have to ask ashlee!
Reply:Ew that is a very disturbing rumor. BUT, I think that's all it is....a rumor.
Reply:yes, of course it is true. I am sure you heard it from Susie, who heard it from Fred, who of course knows Lillian who is a cousin of Ashlee's best friend's uncle who was in school with the person who cut the lawn of the brother of Michael Jackson's maid with the red hair. Don't you KNOW anything?
Reply:maybe.
Reply:Maybe... = )
Reply:That is so stupid!!
♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥
Reply:They should make a category for STUPID questions such as these.
p.s. with or without your support Michael Jackson and Ashlee Simpson will still live their lives

Do i have a chance in modeling?
Well okay. To start off I am 14 years old and I was thinking of persuing modeling. A lot of people have me that I am beautiful and that I should really look into modeling, but I am only 5'4 [but HOPING to put on a few inches, but it's probably not likely]. I know that I could never go into anything series like runway walking or high fashion because I'm not tall enough, but I definitely have the body and the face. People also comment on my hair, and say that I look like a porcelain doll as my skin is flawless and my eyes are very big. Is there any part in the modeling industry that DOESNT need tall models? I'm really mostly into acting, but as people have been telling me that i should possibly look into modeling, should i even bother? Any thoughts would be helpful! Thank you =]
Do i have a chance in modeling?
yes you can i did but i rejected I'm only 5'1 and yeah so yeah totally you can ( I'm not that pretty and i got in )
Reply:you could definitely do like commercial modeling.
they don't require a certain height, its like modeling for catalogs or abercrombie, forever 21, jcpenney stores like that. and it doesnt require a high fashion masculine look.
Reply:Editorial modelling doesn't require as much height as runway modelling. 5'4 is really short. In the modelling world, 5'6 is pushing the minimum. I say if you really want to, pursue it. Start a portfolio. Go to castings to get the experience.
Reply:sounds like you could make it, but i'd help a lot to have a pic :)
by the way, do u go to ocean spings high???? u sound like a girl who does.........
Reply:yes you can if you stick your head in the game i dont need a pic you could be what ever you want to be just wait a little longer and you will see
Reply:You should totally pursue your dream I'm 15 yrs. old and I'm only 5'3 I live in Houston,TX and I took a modeling course at Mayo-Hill Centre for Modeling and they did tell me that I'm not tall enough to do runway but they also said that there's petite fashion shows. If being an actress is what you really want you should go for it!!! The first step you should take is to take acting lessons or modeling lessons and when you're done with that you should look for an agency to represent you. Since I just finished my lessons I'm going to to do a profesional photo shoot and I'm going to get a contract with the Neal Hamil Agency!!! To answer your question yeah there's a lot of things in the modeling industry that you don't have to be tall for. You can do commercials, ads, and commercial print which is being in magazines billboards and stuff like that. You should really try it. If you really rather act then do that it's really fun don't be shy in front of the camera. Even though people tell you to model if you want to act forget them and do what makes you happy. If you want to talk don't hesitate to e-mail me.

Not everyone can be a model. We need a picture to know for sure. Just because you get complimented doesn't mean you're pretty enough to model. Everyone gets compliments like the ones you gave as examples.

{Days 22&23} BHM Appreciation Thread...Important cities?
Today, examining cities that have had some importance in black history….no real question, but feel free to comment on anything.
Atlanta: Blacks becoming a major force in Atlanta after the Civil War. In the late 1800’s, almost half of the residents were black, yet the city remained in racial turmoil. In 1915, ATL became the headquarters for the KKK, and during the 1960’s Martin Luther King Jr. emerged as the leader of the civil rights movement, bringing more historic importance to the city. The MLK Jr. National Historic Site has helped make Atlanta a big tourist attraction for those interested in Black History.
Birmingham: this city was added to the Black History books in 1963, when four young black girls at Sunday school were killed by a bomb at the 16th Street Baptist Church. Riots soon erupted, and it was there that Martin Luther King was jailed for anti-segregation protests. Birmingham’s first black mayor, Richard Arrington helped create a historic district devoted to the civil rights movement. “The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute”- museum and research center, opened in 1992.
Boston: By 1700, Boston had an active abolitionist movement. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts abolished slavery in 1783, and by the 1830’s, Boston had become the center of American Abolitionist sentiment
Detroit: The Great Migration double Detroit’s black population from 6,000 in 1910, to 120,00 in 1930. By way of the auto and other industries, a black middle class developed, creating an important cultural community. In 1930, W.D. Fard founded the Nation of Islam. In the 1960’s, Motown Records pushed many leading black performers to stardom, ie: Diana Ross, Jackson 5. Today, Detroit is more than 75% black.
Harlem, NY: this city was the political and cultural center of African American life in the 20th century. The completion of Lenox Ave. subway made commuting to lower Manhattan easier, Blacks (many from the South and West Indies) began moving in. Black culture flourished during the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920’s and 30’s, led by the likes of Marcus Garvey, and other intellectuals. By 1960, what was left of Harlem was a poor community struggling with various social issues, still going on today.
Memphis: Beale St., which stretches along the Mississippi River, was the center of the Blues in the earlier part of the 20th century. With the Jim Crow laws in effect, Blacks migrated to Beale St., which was a thriving location of black businesses. Memphis is home of the Stax Museum of American Soul Music.
Montgomery: This city represents a milestone in the civil rights movement. Famous for Rosa Parks’ refusal to give up her seat on a bus, what followed was a boycott of the city’s segregated bus system by 17,000 black residents, this would help launch the civil rights movement. The 1965 Selma-to-Montgomery March helped created the momentum that passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
New Orleans: By the Civil War, light-skinned blacks called Creoles (descended from French %26amp; Spanish settlers, and African slaves) had created a healthy middle class community. A lot of creoles were educated and lived apart from black slaves. The slaves, kept alive vestiges of African culture by performing traditional songs and dances. The Jim Crow laws classified Creoles as blacks and barred them from white institutions. They were forced to mix with Blacks, the fusion of these cultures gave birth to Jazz and Blues, giving New Orleans the reputation for being one of the most musically creative cities in the U.S. Then of course Hurricane Katrina in 2005, forced most of the citizens to relocate, those left behind had no power, food, or drinkable water. There is currently no plan to rebuild some of the large scale structures in the city.
Nicodemus, Kansas: As Reconstruction came to an end in the 1870s, Many Black southerners feared they’d lose their civil liberties. Known as “Exodusters”, thousands fled to new black towns, like Nicodemus, which was promoted as “the Promised Land”. In 2 years, the community had 700 residents. Bad Weather + crop failures + Union Pacific Railroad’s decision to bypass the town = end for Nicodemus, it was soon deserted. The historical importance, communities such as this offered African Americans opportunities that were very rare in the 19th century.
Washington DC: A frequent stop for runaway slaves, many Blacks came to this area after the Civil War. By 1960, the city had a majority black population. The presence of black political organizations, and large marches in the 60’s, made Washington a major center of the Civil Rights Movement. Today, it is one of the largest and most prominent black-dominated communities in the United States.

Becoming a male model.?
I am an African-American Male. I want to become a model, but I don't see that many black models. I have read that the fashion industry is set on the Northern European look. I don't know what that is. I am medium brown skin with gray eyes. What exactly are they looking for? Also I read that the new look is to give a blank stare.
Becoming a male model.?
There are lots of African-American models. Abercrombie, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Hollister just to name a few that I've seen them model for..
Reply:dont go by any of that crap. YOU CAN DO IT. look at naomi look at tyra look at some of these beautiful multi cultural models. you can do it as long as you build your porfolio try to find a agency that can help you. always try to look for any openings for catalouges and such. be positive !

Why is the media incorrectly portraying human looks?
I was told by a close friend that when a child reaches a certain age they start focusing on their looks (aka puberty).
That age is getting younger and younger now that little girls and boys are watching "beautiful" people living fake lives through television shows.
Why does the media define beauty as "being thin and clear skin and perfect features"?
There is only a handful of larger, "imperfect" people in the entertainment industry, and I've noticed most of them are men.
Is the media somehow brainwashing our younger generations?
Why is the media incorrectly portraying human looks?
Yes, yes, yes...the media is in marketing to sell products - they are successfully brainwashing not just young girls, but their moms as well. Look at the upswing of plastic surgery. I am 49, soon to be 50 %26amp; many of my friends have already had various surgeries done to prolong their youth. My daughter is in 7th grade %26amp; I am teaching her to be naturally beautiful. I am honest w/her about all of that, while at the same time I let her experiment with some make up %26amp; mud masks %26amp; fun stuff. She does not have her nails done or hair weaved or eyebrow waxed etc., she has many years ahead of her to do those things - she is healthy %26amp; happy being who she is but I think that has a lot to do w/me %26amp; my husband loving her %26amp; instilling confidence in her about who she was created to be.
Reply:It's because they get them to spend tons of money on make-up, clothings, etc and even cosmetic surgery. It's called making money by delusion.
Reply:yeah i totally agree with that, personally the ones that care that much about looks are the ones that put alot of there effort on looks and slowly stupify themselves.
Reply:The media has been doing this since its inception.
It is clearly a parental responsibility to ensure that children are focusing on what is age appropriate and ensuring that their children are educated as to what is a healthy, well rounded and balanced perception of beauty.
Many adults are guilty of ensuring that there children are "hip" with the current trends too; thus, I wouldn't entirely blame the media.
The media doesn't force anyone to do anything - do they?
Additionally, I'm not sure how exposed you are to the entertainment industry but there are hundreds of "imperfect" people - both women %26amp; men. Society dictates who gets the attention, not just the media.
Reply:You hit in right on the head............the media is brainwashing our younger generations. It has been doing this for as long as the media has been in existence, whether it be newspapers which have been around a long time(centuries), magazines, tv, internet, radio, etc. But it also brainwashes adults including you and me....just that kids are more susceptible to it since they are not 'with it' yet. Truth is we all want others to agree with our own opinions and you and I would likely voice our own opinions in a media vehicle if we had the chance. But I will say to 'today's' media owners.......the media is stronger than ever in its ability to reach a large amount of people and whoever is in the high places of power(ownership), you have an even larger responsibility than ever in the world's history to make a mature, responsible message come across due to the power of the media in these times.
Reply:Yes the media is doing that and has been doing it since Mrs. Cleaver cleaned house all day and was perfect with perfect children and a perfect dinner cooked for when Mr. Cleaver home from work.. all in high heels and a nice dress that was never dirty with nary a hair out of place nor smeared make up. Makeup Ideas?
I love makeup and wear a moderate amount every day. I like to do more sometimes. I have a decent level of skill. Do you have ideas of colors I could wear and techniques I might want to apply to my makeup regimen, and brand recommendations? Maybe links to pictures, or celebrities to be inspired by. I have normal skin with rare breakouts, some yellow tones to my skin, and I wear a MAC NC20 foundation, but I do tan to a light golden brown. I'm 21 and I work in the Hawaii real estate industry, so recommendations for work would be great. Thank you! :-)

Youre gorgeous girl! You can glam it up or go soft. You can use a little blush, /cheek color, to accent your face, but you've got it made.
Of all the pix I've seen in this section, those are the best. %26amp; I would tell you .
I should know.
Reply:Oh my gosh, you're perfect!
Don't change anything!
Reply:Maybe some bronzer all over your face.
I love the eye makeup don't change a thing about that :)
And I think you should make your eyebrow shade a little lighter, the dark color of it is too harsh for your face.
Reply:Mabie some really rosey colored blush will deff bring out your cheeks more ! for your eyes i would try some wild colors mabie light teal, aqua, peachy pink....

But if you don't like the shade and the tone they are using how about a the tone skin and the shade of the two actresses like Halle Berry and Cindy Crowford the are both using Max Factor and they both beautiful women Hope i can help you.Good luck.
Reply:Mascara: Maybelline Volum-Xpress
Eyeshadow: CoverGirl Coffe mix
Liner: Clinique kohl brownish black
tip: try using a light beige shadow under your eyes (THIN) around where your eyeliner would be. it makes ur eyes STICK OUT%26gt;
Reply:you are so pretty the way you are you do not need any tips or any make up
Reply:Judging by your pictures, the way your make up is already seems natural and gives the appearance of a flawless face. Stick with this look for the everyday-look.
If you want to play with color, try any bold (but not bright) colors. For example, a pink that will stand out on the fair complexion, but not tacky/trashy.
Brands depend on what you like and what works best with your skin.
Reply:I think maybe a redder shade for your lips- it'll make you look more mature and bring our the fairness or you skin and the whiteness of your teeth.
I think a light silver or gold/nude/tan/brown color eyeshadow dusted on the eyelids would be great, perhaps bringing it from the eyelids out a bit.
a light brown, dusty blush would look great. blend it into your face with your finger, and make sure you don't too much on.
Extremely black mascara, such as LashBlast, would work really well. It'll make your eyes stand out.
CoverGirl products are excellent for make-up application, and they even have a Make-up Mirror where you can upload your picture onto the program and test products online. They also have a chat room where you can ask a beauty consultant, and a sort of quiz to see which products would work best with your features.

have fun! hope this helped
Reply:I love your make up, you look very fresh faced.
I have the same shaped face as yours, I'm olive skinned.
Could you tell me what you use for your make up? Lol, this defeats the purpose but your make up is natural and simple.
Thanks.
