America's Next Top Model - does anyone else think this season is weak?

It just seems that none of the girls are all that eyecatching this season. I loved Anchal but she got the boot, I thought AJ had potential then she got the boot. Jaeda almost looks like a guy - I think they should've kept her hair long but then she got the boot.





Melrose looks OLD - she looks 35 to me - I can't see them giving the top model honors to her.





CariDee was my favorite but she has grown so weird and manic and emotional that I'm not sure she could handle the industry.





And Eugenia - I'm sorry, I don't see the potential. The amount of work they need to do just to retouch her face with that bad skin is enough of a sign that she needs to go.





I liked the twins but they both had weaknesses that wouldn't last in the modeling world.





I just don't feel any of them deserve the top title...I hope the next season is better! I've heard they will be getting fuller figured girls to try out.

girl yes, i just dont think the girls were very pretty. you dont look at those girls and think model, theyre only pretty after they apply all that makeup!


But i think theyre going to give the title to caridee, just because she has more drive than eugenia, and melrose, shes going to crack, and youre right, she looks like so old!

Reply:I agree with you this has definitely been one of its weakest seasons. Right out of the three remaining girls I like caridee the most, but she has gotten quite weird as the season has progressed. I don't think Eugenia is strong enough to win the competition, but she has gotten better over the past few episodes. And melrose is good, but she needs an attitude adjustment.
Reply:Sydney I feel you girl, them b----s are so tired! Who could honestly crown any of them America Next Top Model. They can not hold a candle to any of the former winners, not even Adrian's trashy butt! I don't know what they have in store for next year but I hope it is some chicks worth rooting for! Bring Takara back, shoot if Flav can bring NY back then it think it is time for ANTM to do some recycling too!

Reply:Yeah, I watch the show every season, lol. I just like watching the competition. You think like me with this show. Except, it's a good opportunity for people, but in negative ways, it promotes that beauty only gets you far and being thin. At least Hollywood does.








And it's messed up that she sent Brooke home on her graduation night. If they knew she wasn't doing so good, they should have sent her home earlier. And Tyra talking about how girls would love to be in Brooke's shoes, but not missing an important time in their life. Graduation from high school is something to celebrate, and I'm sure her family would have loved to see her there graduating. Tyra should defenitly make it up to her, cuz that's so wrong. I bet she didn't miss hers!








Anyway. I loved Anchal, I just wish she had more confidence, And not dwell on what somethinks of her. The judges judge, not the girls.





Besides her, Caridee quickly became my favorite, she's her crazy self, lol. She can easily slack off though, especailly after sh had a good week.








I don't dislike Melrose(there are way more sinister people) but some of her comments when another girl would win a challenge, or comments period should be kept to herself. She makes her rude remarks in a way that makes it seem as if it was just an innocent suggestion, but you can tell she's being rude. And she is a big threat, I believe she does well with the competition.











Neither of the twins weren't too passionate about it as much as the others.








Yeah, I don't think Tyra should have cute Jaeda's hair simply because she didn't want her to feel pretty like she did with hair. Cuz you know how Tyra would said "Oh, you're not miss pretty anymore" Messed up, I bet Tyra wouldn't cut hers. And she said she wanted her to look like Halle Berry, and Jaeda doesn't look like her, or pull that short hair off. All strong faces don't mean cut their hair.








I think Eugena stepped up, but I don't think she'll win, because her lack of personality. You know how they all love those bubbly personalities, but it's not like models talk much working. They do commercials yes, but they don't talk on a photo, or on the run way, lol. They're not actresses or singers.











I hope Caridee wins, she deserves too.
Reply:Another reason I think the season is weak is because the girls don't want it as badly as the other girls in other seasons did. I recently watched reruns of the first season, you know the one Adrienne Curry won, the girls wanted to be ANTM so bad. They ate it, they walke dit they dreamed it. This season I think the girls are going, 'I am tall and skinny. I could be ANTM.' Not I AM ANTM. I didn't even have a favorite all season and in previous seasons I I have had one.
Reply:i agree with you. this season has been a let down. maybe they shouldn't have a new ANTM season every other month and focus on making it better for next season. i am sure they are already taping for next season.
Reply:honestly, im not very impressed with this season at all. i wasnt impressed with any of the models and now that it's down to the final 3, i dont really think that any of them have enough potential to be "Americas Next TOP Model". Of the three of them, i think Caridee probably has the best chance. She looks the most like a model, but other than that, this season has just been a disappointment.
Reply:No. I dont think it's weak and I do hope Eugenia wins! I grew up with her and she's a pretty nice girl who deserves a chance. Everyone isn't perfect and are you serious about the skin thing! Who do you know who is a model who doesnt have bumps or anything on their face. HELLO what do you think cover girl is for? Cover that stuff up. DUH!
Reply:Caridee and AJ were my favorites from the start. Melrose does a good job, but she really does look so much older than she is. She is three years younger than me, and looks about 5 years OLDER. My favorite Top Models so far have been Nicole and Naima. Both were my faves from the beginning, and both won. I'm hoping Caridee can pull this one out, too.
Reply:thank you for agreeing with what i have been saying this entire season. This season sucks!! half the girls on the show are too old to get into the modeling biz. Even the first winner of ANTM Adrienne agrees.





These girls are weak as hell. they complain about the dumbest stuff. No Melrose is not going to win, but she is the girl who everyone hopes she doesn't win so she is staying on for the ratings.





With Jaeda's haircut, youknow tyra was like, "Damn, that was a bad one". She made the girl look boyish and then tried to tell her it was suppose to be like Halle Berry??!!!?? What?? Hallie Berry and Jeada look nothing alike. Their bone structure is so differnt. Jeads look sso hard and Hallie looks soft...





Please get rid of Twiggy. Just because you were a model doesn't mean you really know whatyour talking about. Remeber the stupid comment she made about Jeada's abs.. Hello.... Of course they were fake!!!!!
