Becoming a male model.?

I am an African-American Male. I want to become a model, but I don't see that many black models. I have read that the fashion industry is set on the Northern European look. I don't know what that is. I am medium brown skin with gray eyes. What exactly are they looking for? Also I read that the new look is to give a blank stare.

There are lots of African-American models. Abercrombie, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, Hollister just to name a few that I've seen them model for..
Reply:dont go by any of that crap. YOU CAN DO IT. look at naomi look at tyra look at some of these beautiful multi cultural models. you can do it as long as you build your porfolio try to find a agency that can help you. always try to look for any openings for catalouges and such. be positive !
